Dr. Camillo J. Taylor
University of Pennsylvania
Dr Taylor's research interests lie primarily in the fields of Computer Vision and Robotics and include: reconstruction of 3D models from images, vision-guided robot navigation and smart camera networks. Dr. Taylor has served as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions of Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence.
He has also served on numerous conference organizing committees and was a Program Chair of the 2006 and 2017 editions of the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition and of the 2013 edition of 3DV. In 2012, he was awarded the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Anthony Hoogs
Senior Director of Computer Vision, Kitware
Dr. Hoogs supervises the Kitware Computer Vision group and provides strategic direction in this area. He has been the overall Principal Investigator on large DARPA programs including Media Forensics, Squad-X Core technologies, the Persistent Stare Exploitation and Analysis System and the Video and Image Retrieval and Analysis Toolkit.
On these and similar efforts he was responsible for overseeing collaborations with more than 25 universities and 10 commercial subcontractors. At GE Global Research (1998-2007), Dr. Hoogs led a team of researchers in video and imagery analysis on projects sponsored by the US Government, Lockheed Martin and NBC Universal. His government-sponsored projects there included Video Analysis and Content Extraction (I-ARPA) and Dynamic Database (DARPA).
Dr. Christopher Boehnen
Senior Program Manager, IARPA
Christopher Boehnen is Senior Program Manager at Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), Office of the Director of National Intelligence. He leads Janus unconstrained face recognition program, the Odin biometric presentation attack detection program, and the Nail to Nail (N2N) fingerprint prize challenge in addition to numerous seedlings.
Additionally, he has a joint faculty appointment in the University of Tennessee's Anthropology department where he works primarily with the Anthropological Research Facility. Finally, he is on "loan" to IARPA from Oak Ridge National Laboratory via an intergovernmental personal act assignment (IPA).
